Do you have an opinion or expertise in how people get around the U District by foot, wheelchair, bike, transit, or car?
Consider participating in the Mobility Working Group, an ad hoc group of your neighbors working together to provide direction to the transit agencies and the city as our neighborhood grows with the pending up zone and opening of light rail.
This group meets periodically, on a mid-week evening, to research available options and interactions between modes, with the goal to shape how transportation contributes to the livability of the U District.
