Walk and Talk in the U District

Feet First hosted a fun and informational tour of the U District last night, October 11. Over 70 participants walked and heard presentations from local business leaders, UW staff and community groups. It was a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the future of the U District, and also to begin informal discussions with participants about U District Square.

Some of the top questions were: 

How will U District Square be paid for?

Who will make sure it stays clean and safe?

Can we have a cafe there? 

The answers: we're working on it, we're working on it, yes!
